Welcome to NeoApostle.com!  The main purpose of this site is to share with you my art and the messages each piece communicates.  The prevailing theme in my art centers on the message of faith, hope and love.  Especially love, because for me learning, practicing and perfecting love toward my fellow human beings is of the upmost importance.  The idea of “love” in terms of sacrifice is the only thing that will save humanity from oblivion.

It is my goal to create art that reflects my struggles, successes and inner thoughts on sacrificial love.  It is my hope that my art will help you ask questions within yourself and serve as a guide to possibly answers some of those questions. 

In reality the message of love isn’t anything new.  There have been many throughout history that have pleaded and warned us that love is the only solution to the central human flaw of selfish desire.  I am heavily influenced by the teachings and actions of Jesus Christ.  Jesus’ gospel was and still is nothing less than sacrificial love. To “love your neighbor as yourself” should be our primary goal.  After all, logic would dictate that if we actually loved each other as we love ourselves than things such as greed, theft, murder, and various other evils would cease to exist.  Furthermore, loving each other means we love God and God is Love. 

Although, this formula of “loving your neighbor” sounds easy it is actually one of the most difficult things we could aspire to learn and do.  It requires dedication, determination, practice and thought on our part.  And to complicate matters for us further the meaning of love gets blurred and distorted.  This is why I ask the questions through my art so that distortions become clarity and the blurriness becomes focused.  These questions are the questions I ask myself and through my art you can come along for the ride. 

Ultimately, my goal isn’t to convert you to a religion of any kind, or to sway you to be a part of any one group. If anything, all I desire to do is to get you to think in terms of sacrificial love, and possibly to get you to dedicate some time and energy in practicing love so this world will be a better place.  Love is salvation for us all, if we choose to be devoted to it.
